THE LANCASTER OFFICE OF PUBLIC NARRATIVE

Ever spotted a celebrity at Market? How about a lemur? Ever been snubbed by the Barnstormers mascot? Was Charlie Demuth your grandfather’s neighbor’s best friend? At night, do you dream of stealing buggies? Does the tiger salamander at the North Museum look at you funny? Did your onion rings cause Dipco to catch fire?

What’s your best Lancaster story? What’s your worst?

The Lancaster Office of Personal Narrative (LOPN) invites you to schedule a 20-minute consultation with one of our Professional Narrativizers who will shape your story into a highly memorable, easily digestible version of 100 words or less.

Not only will all sessions be free of charge, but participants will also receive a (very, very) small payment. Finalized stories will be delivered via USPS on official LOPN letterhead.

Sessions will take place from Sunday, July 22 through Thursday, July 26 at Modern Art, 529 West Chestnut St. Sunday hours are 11am to 5pm; Monday through Thursday hours are 4pm to 7pm.

SIGN UP for a session here. (or drop in during open hours for a chance to participate.)
