Museum of the Living Worker: The Art of Collage for These Times We Are In

Modern Art's Museum of the Living Worker is excited to welcome resident artist and clinical social worker, Anita Pilkerton-Plumb as she sorts through thoughts, feelings, memories, and ideas----using collage to make sense of family stories as well as collective trauma.

Anita will work on her own art, hold private virtual workshops, and host live sessions during which you, yes you, can give feedback to make her art come alive! Join in a Facebook Live session or stop by the Pine Street window to watch and interact with the artist via cell phone or post-it notes. During this time of uncertainty and change, Anita will be seeking slivers of connection, grit, and understanding of this truly unpredictable human experience.

*Special community collage project! All ages. Saturday, July 25 from 10-2. Bring an image or an object to add to the community collage. Covid precautions will be in place. Please email libby@itsmodernart.com to register.
