Modern Art is delighted to welcome photographer and all-around wonderful human, Michelle Johnsen, to the Museum of the Living Worker from Monday, August 10 - Friday, August 14.. Michelle will be working on a project titled “The Things We Carry”. Inspired by Tim O’Brien’s award-winning book The Things They Carried, and the quote Omnia mea mecum porto (All that is mine I carry with me), Michelle will be asking passers-by to empty out their bags for her to photograph the contents. Come by and observe, or participate by opening your bag to her camera’s lens.
