Tiny Modern Concert: Big Lazy meets the Nielsen Family Band

Modern Art and Series 42 present Nielsen Family Band and NYC's Big Lazy
BIG LAZY...Strum und Twang from NYC!
On October 18, 2019 Big Lazy releases their sixth album Dear Trouble on Checkered Past Records. Dear Trouble dwells in the landscape of noir Americana.
Big Lazy has flourished for over 2 decades, playing their singular brand of noir and twang from Nashville dive bars to Opéra Underground at l'Opéra de Lyon. Big Lazy founder Stephen Ulrich is the composer for the HBO series Bored to Death and the art forgery documentary Art and Craft.

"Big Lazy, the elegantly gritty instrumental trio led by the extraordinary guitarist Stephen Ulrich, plays stunningly beautiful music that evokes everything from truckers' romps to the haunting film scores of Bernard Herrmann." The New Yorker
