Join us on Monday, August 17 from 5-7 to celebrate the opening of a new installation, The Meal Before Me by Michelle Johnsen, in Modern Art’s Window Nook.

The Meal Before Me is a documentary photography project by Michelle Johnsen exploring intergenerational cooking, family recipes, and the role food plays in creating community, connection, and traditions. This project was created for the City of Lancaster Neighborhood Art Project (NAP), 2026.
